Description:
The Abilene Zoo is home to more than 800 animals representing more than 200 species, including elephants, zebras, giraffes and jaguars. It is located about three miles east of the downtown in Nelson Park. The zoo’s Discovery Center boasts comparative habitat displays of fish, invertebrates, and small mammals native to Africa and the U.S. Southwest.

Adults (13-59) $3; Children (3-12) & seniors (60+) $2; Children under 3 are free
Admission Details:
Open daily 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Open Thurs. 9:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m., between Memorial Day - Labor Day
