I had heard all over town about how good this place was and decided to check it out. The waitress didn't know where the lobster came from and wasn't very knowledgeable about the food past her memorized specials and when I got my bacon-wrapped scallops, they were VERY overcooked and cold. The steak wasn't too bad, but for the prices of the menu items, I wasn't impressed. The wine selection was good and I enjoyed the cocktails.

Abilene has needed a ?fine dinning? restaurant for some time. I was excited to hear that one was being built; however, I was apprehensive that the experience would not live up to the anticipation. My wife and I were pleasantly surprised by everything that Cooper Creek offered. First of all the building, decorations, and table are over-the-top impressive. We eat out rarely; however, when we do we look to the experience. The service was top quality, the food excellent, and the overall experience was something to remember. My wife and I first visited there on Valentine?s. For those desiring a romantic dinner I would rate this place number 1 in Abilene. Since our visit, I look for every excuse to return. My favorite item on the menu is the lobster soup; however, it seems impossible to go wrong with any selection. This restaurant has the quality of an upscale place in Dallas; however the cost is much more reasonable. I recommend this establishment to anyone looking for a complete dining experience.
